RMHC Partners with the Greenville Drive for One Night One Shirt Fundraiser

GREENVILLE, S.C.  (March 28, 2014) –Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas is partnering with the Greenville Drive for a One Night One Shirt fundraiser. With the purchase of a $13 T-shirt, individuals and companies across the Upstate can pay for a one-night stay for a family in need at Greenville’s Ronald McDonald House. As a thank you, the Drive will provide individuals who wear their T-shirt on May 9 with a complimentary ticket to that evening’s Greenville Drive vs. Greensboro Grasshoppers game at 7pm at Fluor Field.

“Our hope is to have employees and companies across the Upstate unite for a common cause and support our families. The Upstate community has always been a great supporter of the House, and we are excited to see this fundraiser come to life,” said Marti Spencer, Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas. “We are thrilled to partner with the Greenville Drive for this first-time fundraiser. They continue to help us fulfill our mission of providing hope, encouragement and comfort to the families who need it most.”

Greenville’s Ronald McDonald House is designating May 9 as One Night One Shirt day, encouraging companies and individuals to wear these T-shirts in support of the fundraising effort. The deadline to order the T-shirts is Tuesday, April 1.
