Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas Launches New Website

GREENVILLE, S.C.  (Dec. 11, 2013) – Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas launched a new website today, thanks to a grant from Engenius. The grant includes responsive website design and development with hosting and support, marketing consulting and more. “We are grateful to Engenius for helping us refresh our current website,” said Marti Spencer, Executive Director and CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas. “As a nonprofit, we rely on donations and grants to help fund the House. We were in need of a new website to help us tell our story of providing hope, encouragement and comfort to families in need.” Each year, Engenius awards two grants to serve nonprofit organizations in Abbeville, Anderson, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens and Spartanburg counties. Each grant is valued at $5,000. “Nonprofits in the Greenville community have such a great story to tell and we want to be the ones to help them tell it,” said Chris Manley, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Engenius. “We saw great potential for helping the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas articulate how much they do for the entire family, in addition to the hospitalized children. We are excited about what they do and wanted to be sure that message was front and center on their new site.” Some of the new features include highlighting events, family testimonials, and news, and enabling the site to accept online donations from the community.
