RMHC of the Carolinas Announces the Hearts & Hands Gala as New Name for Annual Gala

GREENVILLE, S.C. (Aug. 16, 2018) – Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of the Carolinas is pleased to announce its annual gala will debut a new name this year as the Hearts & Hands Gala. In its 19th year the Hearts & Hands Gala presented by Soul Yoga, will be held on Friday, November 30th at the TD Convention Center. Named “the best Christmas party in town,” this year’s Hearts & Hands Gala invites guests for an evening in Paris featuring authentic cuisine, fine wine and entertainment all in support of RMHC® of the Carolinas.
“This was a fitting year for us to debut the Hearts & Hands Gala name as we recently opened the House expansion in June,” said Marti Spencer, Executive Director/CEO of RMHC® of the Carolinas. “Our mission has now doubled and we are serving 24 families at a time keeping them close to their sick child receiving treatment. What better way to describe our purpose and cause than through all the ‘hearts and hands’ it takes to keep our House open.”
The Hearts & Hands Gala begins at 6:00 p.m. at the TD Convention Center. Guests will receive complimentary valet service provided by Carlton Motors. Upon entrance into the Hearts & Hands Gala guests are greeted with a unique selection of French wines and hors d’oeuvres. Next, guests may peruse a wide variety of more than 100 auction packages ranging from weekend getaways to New York, Atlanta, Asheville, Charleston, and New Orleans to restaurant experiences, local shopping opportunities and fine art desirable to anyone. At 8:00 p.m. guests are invited into the ballroom where they will be whisked away to and evening under the stars in Paris. After the three-course French dinner, live auction and Fund A Night program, guests have the remainder of the evening to dance the night away to the sounds of the Mighty Kicks.
