Tickets On Sale for Charity’s Largest Fundraiser
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas is pleased to announce its 15th Annual Holiday McGala will be held on Friday, December 5th at the Embassy Suites. Named “the best Christmas party in town,” this year’s McGala invites guests to “An Evening in Italy” for a night of delectable food, fine wine and entertainment all in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites and opens with a large, diverse silent auction featuring more than 100 experiences from jewelry, fine wine, olive oil, travel, dining, the arts and much more. At 8:00 p.m. doors to the ballroom open and guests will immediately be invited to an authentic Italian dinner with wine pairings. The cuisine for the evening has been consulted on by Chef Carlos Echeverri of Da Vinci’s Ristorante in collaboration with Embassy Suites Resort’s premiere Chef Alan Scott. A live auction will take place after dinner showcasing a trip to Tuscany, a scooter, a trip to San Francisco and Napa Valley and much more. The remainder of the evening will feature music by the Mighty Kicks for the guests listening and dancing pleasure.
“Our McGala is the year-end celebration of our mission here at the Ronald McDonald House,” said Marti Spencer, CEO/Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas. “The funds raised from the McGala allow us to continue to provide a home for so many families that are searching for a place to stay while their critically ill or injured child is being treated right across the street. We are honored and blessed to have such amazing supporters; ‘An Evening in Italy’ is our thank you to them!”
The 15th annual McGala would not be possible without the generous support of the event’s largest supporters McDonald’s GSA Coop and Greenville Health System’s Children’s Hospital.
