COVID-19 Response and Relief
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas is committed to providing clean and healthy family-centered spaces for families to rest, recharge and connect with one another. The health and well-being of our guest families, staff and the communities in which we serve is always our top priority.
In order to prevent exposure and the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have made the decision to suspend acceptance of new families, effective immediately. Guest families current staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas may remain at the House at this point in time.We are closely monitoring this situation to ensure the steps we take to address COVID-19 are in the best interest of the families we serve.
We will continue to follow the guidance and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), South Carolina Department of Health, World Health Organization (WHO), and Prisma Health System as we navigate this situation.
As an organization that relies on over 2,500 volunteers and thousands of donors, just like you, RMHC of the Carolinas is experiencing the cancellation of both our volunteer programs and critical fundraising events. You can help provide support by making a monetary donation to our Emergency Fund. Our program also relies heavily on in-kind donations such as food items and cleaning products, the items we are most in need of now are listed on our Wish List.
