Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas Adds
Board Member Mark Loukides
GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 23, 2014) – Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas recently added Mark Loukides, Executive Director of Facilities Development for Greenville Health System to its Board of Directors. Loukides will serve a two year term for the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville.
“We have worked with Mark through Greenville Health System in the past and he has always been an engaged supporter of the House,” said Jim Hendrix, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “We are thrilled to have him as a part of the Board of Directors and look forward to working with him as we plan for the future of the Ronald McDonald House.”
As Executive Director of Facilities Development for Greenville Health System, Loukides leads the planning, design and construction for all health system expansion initiatives. Loukides came to Greenville six years ago and has been an active community volunteer by serving on various nonprofit boards, coaching youth baseball and basketball teams, and teaching Sunday School for elementary school students.
“The Ronald McDonald House Board of Directors is comprised of a special group of men and women from throughout Greenville who bring their own talents and passion to forward our House’s mission,” said Marti Spencer, CEO/Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House. “Mark’s knowledge in healthcare facilities will be a great asset to our team and we are so fortunate to have him.”
The House’s Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from the medical, business, academic and volunteer communities of the Upstate. It is the Board’s responsibility to provide counsel and guidance in the direction and operation of the House as well as it is to raise awareness of the House’s services to the surrounding communities.
