Welcome Back RMHCC Volunteers!

Through this past year, we have anxiously been waiting for the return of our in-person volunteer programs. We are excited to announce the reopening of these programs on May 3, 2021, and have several new updates to share with you.

 

Guest Chef Volunteer Updates:

Our Guest Chef volunteers can now sign-up for shifts directly from our website HERE. Please use the calendar provided to find an available date and submit a “Preparing a Meal Request” that is located at the bottom of the website page. New Guest Chef COVID-19 Guidelines and FAQs can be found HERE.

  • Volunteers will be required to wear a mask at all times on RMHC of the Carolinas property;
  • All volunteers will have their temperature checked upon arrival. Anyone with a temperature above 99.3 will not be permitted to enter the House;
  • Groups will be limited to no more than (4) four volunteers;
  • All volunteers must complete a questionnaire and sign a volunteer reinstatement form before their schedule volunteer shift;
  • Volunteers that have traveled outside South Carolinas 14 days prior to their assigned shift will not be permitted to enter the House;
  • Volunteers who have had a fever or sickness (including but not limited to: fever, flu, cold, stomach bug, etc.) 14 days prior to their assigned shift will not be permitted to enter the House.

Cookies From the Heart Volunteer Updates:

Our Cookies From the Heart volunteers can now sign-up for shifts directly from our website HERE. Please use the calendar provided to find an available date and submit a “Cookies From The Heart Sign Up Request” that is located at the bottom of the website page. Please review our Food Safety, Meal Service and Clean Up, Volunteer Expectations, and FAQ sections on our COVID-19 guidelines HERE prior to your volunteer shift.

  • Volunteers will be required to wear a mask at all times on RMHC of the Carolinas property;
  • All volunteers will have their temperature checked upon arrival. Anyone with a temperature above 99.3 will not be permitted to enter the House;

Our previous Front Desk Volunteers will still use their Volgistics login to find and sign-up for available volunteer shifts. Anyone interested in becoming a Front Desk volunteer will need to submit a volunteer application that can be found on our Volunteer page.

  • All volunteers will have their temperature checked upon arrival. Anyone with a temperature above 99.3 will not be permitted to enter the House;

House Monitor Volunteer Updates:
